The don Manuel Irujo prize

The don Manuel Irujo prize, the journal Irujo Etxea and the 2005 cultural november in Estella.

This is not the first time that UDALBIDE works in collaboration with the Association IRUJO ETXEA.

The main aim of this association is to recover historical memory by following in the footsteps of Manuel Irujo and developing the Basque personality of Estella.

With the aid of UDALBIDE Elkarlan Elkartea, the following activities are organised:

- The organisation of the 4th MANUEL IRUJO PRIZE. The prize-winners to date have been José María Jimeno Jurio, Pedro Miguel Etxenike and José María Satrustegi.

- The 2005 issue of the journal REVISTA IRUJO ETXEA, which studies a range of historical subjects.

- The 2005 CULTURAL NOVEMBER, which consists of conferences from and round tables involving reputed historians and researchers, held in Estella.
