Training of Basque-language technicians

HEZKUNTEK is an association created in the Northern Basque Country (Iparralde) and it has one specific objective: to train Basque-language technicians. The association consists of companies and members from the educational world interested in the use of Basque and the economic situation of the Northern Basque Country (Iparralde).

Under the slogan `Euskaraz hezi, euskaraz bizitzeko´ (Educate in Basque, to live in Basque) and with the collaboration of UDALBIDE Elkarlan Elkartea, HEZKUNTEK aims to send young people to the training centres and schools of the Southern Basque Country (Hegoalde) so as to train technicians for the Northern Basque Country (Iparralde), convinced, at the same time, that these exchanges shall strengthen national identity.

The project relies on the collaboration of the networks of the HETAL and IKASLAN centres.
