Udalbiltza provides aid amounting to 210,350 euros to Nafarroa Oinez 2002

The yearly sponsored run to raise funds for ikastolas in Nafarroa. The public authorities must make a special effort to develop euskera. Euskera belongs to all and must be protected and supported.

UDALBILTZA and the Federation of Ikastolas (Basque Schools) of Navarra are to sign an agreement next Monday, the 23rd of December, at 11:00 a.m., at the headquarters in Pamplona-Iruñea of the Institution of Municipally-Elected Councillors, whereby UDALBILTZA will be providing aid amounting to 210,350 euros for Nafarroa Oinez 2002.

This agreement means a new step in the commitment on the part of UDALBILTZA to Euskera. It means an expression of the practice of municipal solidarity towards Euskera.

The following will be taking part in the pres conference: Jose Luis ETXEGARAY ANDUEZA, mayor of Lesaka and member of the Executive Board of UDALBILTZA and Xabier AZANZA ARBIZU, Chairman of the Federation of Ikastolas of Navarra.
